2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. 

Qualifications: Twenty (20) years; experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Position Description 
The System Engineer shall be responsible for consolidating multiple Jira Service Desk instances and creating a unified, user friendly customer service desk to enhance the HPC organization’s service management capabilities and user experience.

Position Required Skills 
 Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
 Extensive experience with Jira Service Desk configuration, administration, and customization
 Proficient in UI/UX design and development using relevant tools and frameworks
 Experience with API integration and scripting (Bash, Python)
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail 
 Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) 

Position Desired Skills 
 Familiar with Agile software development methodologies and project management tools
 Experience with Git Source Control System
