2HB Incorporated is seeking a Technical Writer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. 

Qualifications:
Six (6) years’ experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Position Description
The Technical Writer shall be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for the HPC organization’s software products, services, and processes. This role requires strong writing skills, a solid understanding of technical concepts, and the ability to translate complex information into user-friendly content.

Position Required Skills 
 Familiar with the Linux CLI including understanding of terminology used to provide related documentation
 Experience using technical writing tools such as MS Office Tool Suite, MadCap Flare, and Adobe FrameMaker 
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail 
 Experience implementing complex documentation practices within a software development environment 
 Experience using Markup languages including HTML, XML, and Markdown
 Experience creating technical documentation for a wide audience  
 Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) 
 Experience with Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills 
 Familiar with Agile software development methodologies
 Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
