System Engineer

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

2HB Incorporated is seeking a System Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The customer is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide UX usability engineering, testing and training support for the Cybersecurity Intelligence Team (CIT) TTO. This TTO is a portfolio of cyber security projects supporting the cyber security organization. The candidate will interface directly with the customer, development teams and leadership to support the modernization of the projects within this portfolio. The candidate will provide support in re-designing existing UX platforms and as new products are developed, the candidate will support the design of new GUI interfaces. Additionally, the candidate will lead usability studies to better understand the user workflow and recommend changes based upon study findings. Furthermore, the UX engineer will support the creation of training modules to further engage users in leveraging the functionality across the GUIs for each project.

Required Skills:
  • Proficient in customer discovery and engagement
  • Experience creating wireframes
  • Understand and design color palettes
  • Experience creating mockups
Desired:
  • Knowledge of 508 Compliance

Required Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
  • A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
