Software Engineer

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

 2HB Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction. 
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for software development activities for a service that automates corporate data compliance requirements for the Y3322 HPC organization.

SWE-3 Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Position Required Skills
  • Experience using the Linux CLI
  • Experience with creating/modifying scripts using Bash/Python
  • Experience developing with Java in a Linux environment
  • Experience with designing and developing multi-threaded and distributed applications
  • Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies
  • Experience performing benchmarking and system testing in a Linux environment
  • Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation tools such as Ansible
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, and best practices using tools such as GitLab CI
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Position Desired Skills
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with Git Version Control System
  • Experience with Message Broker technologies such as Pulsar, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
